Equity-Embedded Change Management™ Cohort

A cohort-based learning community for experienced equity practitioners, offered by GEO in 2024 and 2025. The cohort was led by Sheryl Petty, Ed.D., CEO & Founder of Movement Tapestries. The program concluded after two cohorts.

About the Community

As part of GEO’s work to transform philanthropic culture and practice, it was clear that change agents across the field needed additional resources, capacity building, and community to navigate resistance and other challenges to advance equity-centered change. The EECM™ Cohort in 2024 and 2025 supported experienced equity and change practitioners to enhance their considerable skills by helping to deepen approaches and strengthen their stamina for advancing change across roles, org types and sectors. The alumni of both EECM™ cohorts continue to offer each other real-time experimentation and support to advance change management rooted in deep equity.
