2027 Learning Conference

Logo for the GEO Learning Conference 2027, taking place May 26–27, 2027, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Save the date for the GEO 2027 Learning Conference, May 26–27, 2027, at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel, in partnership with Philanthropy Missouri.

The 2027 Learning Conference brings together philanthropic learning and grantmaking practice to create space for questions about our vision for the world and how we’ll get there:

  • How can learning and evaluation help grantmakers stay grounded in intersectional equity while remaining responsive to communities driving change?
  • How do we strengthen these practices so that learning leads to real organizational shifts that communities can feel?
  • How do we prepare ourselves and our organizations to make necessary changes with courage, navigate uncertainty and collaborate more deeply with communities?
  • How can learning help us better understand the pace of change, our progress and where we need to adjust?

The conference will sit at the intersection of philanthropic practice and learning, helping us adapt and deepen our commitment to our values and our communities amid disruption and change. Together, we’ll create a space that is both supportive and challenging, where grantmakers and learning practitioners can listen to and learn from communities, nonprofits and one another as we work to change mindsets, improve practices and get unstuck in our efforts to create lasting change.
