GEOList Summary: Foundation Evaluation
I am interested in knowing if there are any foundations that have brought their evaluations in-house. In other words, rather than contract with external evaluators to conduct evaluations of foundation work, if anyone knows of foundations that have staff internal to the foundation conduct the evaluations. I’m interested in pros and cons of this in-house model, as well as any thoughts on how to maintain integrity and independence of evaluations if done by in-house staff.
