GEO Benefits Summary:
GEO is committed to offering rich and comprehensive benefits to support the wellbeing of our staff.
Employees who work 30 or more hours are eligible for the following benefits:
Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
Employees who work at least 30 hours/week and their legal spouses, domestic partners, and dependent children are all eligible for our medical, dental and vision coverage. Our medical insurance includes virtual visits, mental health services, and more. GEO covers the cost of medical premiums insurance at 100%.
403(b) Retirement Benefits
All full-time employees are eligible for a 403(b)-retirement plan. Employees are immediately eligible to make voluntary contributions to the plan. On the first of the month, following six months of employment, GEO will contribute 7% of an employee’s compensation to the employee’s account.
GEO provides Paid Parental Leave, after a year of employment; Fifteen days (15) paid annual/vacation, increasing to twenty (20) days after a year of employment; Twelve days (12) paid wellness (sick) leave.
GEO recognizes most federal holidays including New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous’ People’s Day, Thanksgiving (and the day after) and closed one week in the summer months for a summer break and the last two weeks in December for a holiday winter break. We also provide two “floating holidays” per year.
After 30 days of employment, employees are eligible for Smart Benefits/Parking Reimbursement up to $100 per month.
Yoga classes, Pilates, art therapy, race registrations, gym memberships, therapy sessions, massages, nutrition counseling, personal trainer and fitness gadgets and equipment up to $75 per month, eligible after 30 days of employment. Onsite gym access is available.
GEO offers a professional development stipend annually for staff to meet organization-wide goals as well as funds for external training opportunities.
Additional benefits include life, accidental death and dismemberment, As well as short & long-term disability insurance for all employees. We also offer a pre-tax metro/qualified parking. All GEO staff have access to a state-of-the-art gym and locker room on site for no additional cost.
