As Program Manager, Allison works as part of the program team to deliver impactful conference content and peer learning programming. Allison oversees the logistics for GEO’s conferences and convenings, balancing participant experience with streamlined, equitable processes.

Allison joined GEO in 2017 and spent two years as Membership Development Specialist, growing the GEO community and representing GEO in the field. Prior to joining GEO, Allison worked on the membership team at the global media platform Devex, where she helped global development organizations be more efficient and effective in their recruitment and business development strategies. Allison also brings to GEO a background in political fundraising on Senatorial and Congressional campaigns.

Allison previously served at Networks Director on the Executive Committee of the Women’s Information Network (WIN). She is an avid reader who has published book reviews on Lambda Literary and produced Alexandria’s inaugural Emerging Writers Festival in August 2019. A native Michigander, Allison graduated from University of Michigan in 2014 with a degree in International Studies and Political Science.
