Aerial Reese is a program specialist ensuring high-quality peer learning, speaking engagements, publications and other programming. Aerial manages several peer learning programs, supports community-building initiatives and delivers speaking engagements. Aerial also develops and implements strategies to influence GEO’s internal equity and culture journey. She brings to GEO a background in policy, legislative advocacy and community organizing. Most recently, Aerial has served as Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Women’s Information Network.
Aerial graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and women’s studies from Agnes Scott College, a women’s college. Aerial led successful workers’ rights campaigns on her campus, including the unionization of all campus dining hall and maintenance staff. Aerial is currently pursuing a master’s in organizational leadership at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
