Aerial Reese is a program manager who delivers high-quality peer learning and speaking engagements at Grantmakers for Effective Organizations. Aerial manages The Change Leaders in Philanthropy Fellowship, a 10-month peer cohort program where senior leaders in the philanthropic community can gather to learn about and improve their change management skills at the individual, organizational and systems levels – united by a desire to help each other and themselves grow and achieve transformational changes. Aerial also develops and implements strategies to influence GEO’s internal equity and culture journey. She brings to GEO a background in policy, legislative advocacy and community organizing. Most recently, Aerial has served as Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Women’s Information Network.

Aerial graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and women’s studies from Agnes Scott College, a women’s college. Aerial led successful workers’ rights campaigns on her campus, including the unionization of all campus dining hall and maintenance staff. Aerial graduated with a master’s in organizational leadership from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
