Peer Communities & Cohorts

Through GEO peer communities and cohorts, members harness the power of community to share insights, learning and experiences, while moving to solutions that advance racial equity and transform philanthropy. Equitable Operations

GEO’s Equitable Operations Community is dedicated to identifying, interrogating and shifting internal practices with the goal of operationalizing intersectional racial equity. In areas from human resources and finance to risk management and information technology, the community supports participants to strengthen internal policies and practices in ways that match a grantmakers equity commitments.

In the Change Leaders in Philanthropy Fellowship, the tools, the facilitation within each of the retreats, the dialogue between fellows between retreats have been so valuable. I really think I have gone miles ahead of what I probably would have had I not been a part of the Fellowship.
