Join us to examine how equitable operations can evaluate AI systems before those systems shape decisions about grantees, staff, and communities.
In this session, Mala Kumar, executive director of Humane Intelligence, will give a primer on different types of AI evaluations and what organizations can do with varying levels of technical staff. Participants will leave with a working understanding of AI evaluation methods and a clear sense of where to start inside their own institutions. Humane Intelligence has designed and run red teaming and other AI evaluations for governments, industry, international civil society, and academia, across multiple domains. Humane Intelligence is the author of the Red Teaming Artificial Intelligence for Social Good Playbook with UNESCO, as well as a LinkedIn Learning course on AI evaluations that can be accessed for free until September 30, 2026.
Please join this session to connect with other equitable operations peers in the philanthropic space to ground with the 7-circle model framework. Participants will leave the session with exposure to both tactical and relational practices for the work ahead.
