Rooted & Responsive Practice Series: Part 1
Rooted & Responsive is GEO’s multi-year leadership initiative helping grantmakers stay grounded in racial equity and community-centered practice amid disruption.
As part of this initiative, we’re offering a three-part webinar series designed to help grantmakers build the capacity to navigate change with purpose. Together, these sessions explore the ongoing practices of unlearning, courage and interdependence required to operationalize racial equity and align our internal structures with our values.
Join us for part one of the series to explore the practices that support leaders in remaining rooted and anchoring in vision. In a time of disruption and backlash, philanthropic leaders need internal fortitude to stay grounded in racial equity as their guiding star. This session focuses on the unlearning required to resist the urge to react or retreat in the face of uncertainty. By grounding ourselves in a clear vision, we build the individual practice needed to navigate change with purpose and stay steady in our collective commitments.
This is Part 1 of a three-part series. Continue with Part 2: Cultivating Interdependence and Part 3: Embracing Embodiment to deepen your practice and carry these ideas into action.
