Funders for Fundraise Peer Community

A pilot learning community focused on interrogating traditional fundraising practices, sharing internal learning and identifying sector-wide trends to help foundation staff and trustees align their fundraising with their organizational values.

About the Community

Funders Who Fundraise is a peer community of GEO members who focus on relationship-building as a means of identifying, cultivating and securing contributed revenue. By interrogating traditional fundraising practices, sharing internal learning and identifying sector-wide trends, the community seeks to align fundraising with organizational values, with the larger goal of guiding the field toward more trust-based funding relationships.

Funders Who Fundraise is for philanthropic leaders whose roles include raising money. This includes development and fundraising staff, grantwriters, CEOs, trustees and others working at community foundations, operating foundations and intermediaries across a variety of funding priority areas.

You must be a current GEO member to join.

Participants attend quarterly 60- to 75-minute peer community calls where we engage with colleagues, participate in peer coaching and learning, and discuss emerging topics in the sector related to fundraising. Members may also have opportunities to connect at GEO events and conferences.
