Membership is currently open to:
- grantmaking institutions, such as a foundation, a corporate giving program, a government funder, a United Way or a venture philanthropy organization,
- infrastructure groups that serve grantmakers as the primary members, or
- academic programs at accredited universities where philanthropy is the primary focus of your research or course work.
Please note: GEO is not a grantmaking foundation and does not accept applications for support. Rather, GEO is a membership organization serving grantmakers, helping them apply strategies and practices that contribute to grantee success. Additionally, the GEO community is not a place for solicitation of grant funding nor does GEO support members in their fundraising efforts.
