National Conference Networking Opportunities
GEO offers the Ambassador Program during conferences to help deepen participants’ networking experiences. This program brings together new conference participants, or those new to GEO, with more seasoned GEO members.
Make the most of the conference by tapping into the knowledge of an experienced colleague. Or, if you’ve attended GEO conferences in the past, please volunteer to welcome first-timers and expand your network at the same time. For more information please contact Jason Twiss at email@example.com.
Bay Area Connect
Get the most from your San Francisco visit! Bay Area Connect guides, volunteers from the local grantmaking community, will be available to help make your conference experience and visit to the Bay Area memorable. Use them as your local resource and ask for recommendations for things to do in the area. Guides will be wearing something special onsite.
Join GEO, the conference host committee and your fellow conference participants at Exploratorium for an evening of networking, cocktails, food and hands-on learning exhibits.
Join your fellow participants in peer-hosted conversations taking place during unprogrammed portions of the conference. These discussions are posted in the online program and conference app and are updated regularly. If you’d like to host a discussion, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The conference schedule offers informal and formal networking breaks throughout the three days so that participants have ample time to schedule meetings or simply catch up with peers.
