Taking a cue from Vu Le’s 2016 post – “Hey foundation trustees, come get a beer with us” – we’re celebrating a now-annual Get a Beer and Undo Nonprofit Power Dynamics (GBUNPD) Day on May 25, 2017. Invite your foundation trustees and a nonprofit or two that you fund to deepen your relationships over a frosty pint.
We’re in partnership with Vu Le, Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers, Philanthropy Northwest, the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, and the Center for Effective Philanthropy, expanding this event across the country - calling for one day where foundations and nonprofits can just get a beer together, or coffee or ice cream, without an agenda, and just talk about whatever.
