Strengthening Wellbeing in the Nonprofit Sector

In this upcoming member call, we will explore the role of the philanthropic community in supporting the wellbeing and resilience of grantee partners.

Event Details

In the social sector, calls are growing for greater attention and resources for self- and collective care within organizations and movements. Limited resources for nonprofits and a difficult political climate increase risks of conflict, stress, burnout, and trauma, ultimately affecting organizational strength and capacity to foster social change.

In this upcoming member call, we will explore the role of the philanthropic community in supporting the wellbeing and resilience of grantee partners. Some of the questions we will explore include:

  • Why is strengthening self- and collective care of the nonprofit sector important? What consequences have we observed from not making that investment?
  • What are some ways that funders – as grantmakers, conveners, and capacity builders – can boost their support for wellbeing in the sector? What challenges do we face?
  • What are some resources and opportunities to continue our learning and action?

Start: Tuesday, February 11, 2:00 PM Eastern

End: Tuesday, February 11, 3:00 PM Eastern
