Held in partnership with Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania

The scale and complexity of the problems we face require new approaches and bold leadership to tap the creativity and expertise of multiple perspectives. Join some of your most innovative colleagues working for change at the 2010 GEO National Conference, held in Pittsburgh in partnership with Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania.

The conference will feature cutting-edge sessions designed to help you learn new strategies and share experiences that will have an immediate application in today’s world.

Sessions fall into four themes:
  • Leading in Changing Times: Sessions will identify new leadership models for working in a networked world and the role of grantmakers in supporting them.
  • The Money: Sessions will investigate the role of flexible, stable funding in sparking innovation in the nonprofit sector.
  • Learning: Sessions will delve into the need for collective, ongoing learning and new ways to understand impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Sessions will address the importance of engaging diverse, on-the-ground perspectives to identify solutions that work.
